My first attempt at baked apple chips was a success! My family and I agreed these chips were a keeper.
- 1 large Fuji apple
- ground cinnamon
- organic cane sugar
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- Wash apple.
- Using a mandoline, slice the apple .75 mm thin.
- Mix the ground cinnamon and organic cane sugar together and sprinkle the mixture onto the apple slices.
- Place the slices onto parchment paper and arrange them to be a single layer. Make sure they do not overlap!
- Bake one side for 15 minutes and flip to the other side for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the slices from the oven and allow them to cool for about 10 minutes. They will become extra crispy after they have cooled down.
